Los-Angeles based pop singer, Aleem, made his Canadian debut in Toronto earlier this summer.  He received a warm reception, climbing the Hot Tracks list on iTunes in Canada after the release of his first single off the LP, Find Out. Due to his talent and success, Aleem was asked to walk the runway and perform at Toronto Men’s Fashion Week [TOM*FW] held this week, August 17 – 20, 2016.

Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) announced the lineup of Canadian celebrities for its Spring/Summer 2017 MensFashion4Hope, TOM*s charitable initiative, the only male celebrity fashion show in the country. The runway presentation will take place on opening night, Thursday, August 18th at 8:00 p.m. at the Mattamy Athletic Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens). All proceeds raised during MensFashion4Hope will go towards SickKids Hospital  through the Kol Hope Foundation for Children.

On May 9, 2016, Kol Hope Foundation for Children President, Melinda Parreño Rustia, and Director, Jeff Rustia, presented Easter Seals Canada President & CEO, Dave Starrett, with a cheque for $10,000.  The donation will go towards the Kol Hope Fund at Easter Seals which helps provide life-changing summer camp experiences and assistive technology for kids living with disabilities, as well as respite care programs for families.

The fourth installment of Toronto Men's Fashion Week (TOM*), organized by media personality Jeff Rustia, took place February 22 to 26 at 444 Yonge St., College Park. For fall/winter 2016, TOM* presented menswear collections from Caffery Van Horne, Christopher Bates, Diodati by Luca Galardo, Finezza, Hip and Bone, L'Momo, Tuck Shop and TOM* Emerging Menswear Designer Award (EMDA) winners Joao Paulo Guedes and 3. Paradis.
